Our Home in St.Louis

Daniel and I have now been in St. Louis for a month and a half and we have been enjoying every moment of it! We have been so lucky to have the Tarletons here to show us the ropes and to spend so much time with us. We moved in with them when we first got here, thinking that it would be awhile until we found a place to live. Originally we thought that we would live in an apartment, but this house just kind of fell into our laps and we felt so right about it. It is an older home and I have done a lot of work on it to make it “ours,” but it has been well worth it and we have loved it so much. Of course this is no dream home.. but for now and for us it fits our current dream and we love love love it! (As you can see in some of the photos, Millie loves it too!)

I painted the entire house (it was originally white). It is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home and it has a sort of fun retro feel to it… as you can see with the awesome old-school wood work throughout! This meant I had to get creative with what paint colors to use… but it has been a blast!

As you can see, millie has her favorite perch that looks out into the neighborhood

The Family Room… we love this room.. it is HUGE and has been awesome for whenever the kids come to visit!! There are doors that separate this room from the rest of the house so that we can lock toddlers or canines in.

Currently the 3rd bedroom is still being used as storage until we get all settled in! Things we love about our home include the backyard, all the storage space, D has a garage, we live at the end of a quite
cul-de-sac, it is the perfect size to have quests over, and of course D love's having a giant desk where he can study at home!
